Fish and fishing during the Sudanese Mesolithic and Neolithic : preliminary results from Jebel Sabaloka

Abstract

The paper evaluates the results of analyses of fish bones from two sites from Jebel Sabaloka near the 6th Nile Cataract in the Sudan - the Mesolithic settlement of Sphinx and the Mesolithic and Neolithic settlement of Fox Hill.
