Abstract
The main objective of the seminar was to inform Czech publishing houses about current events within the Finnish literary field, to introduce new authors and books of different genres, which could be interesting for Czech readers. Among other topics there were Finnish grants for translation and publishing and the programme of the annual Frankfurt Book Fair, where Finland was a Guest of Honour in 2014.
The participants had the opportunity to meet Czech translators from Finnish who had in co-operation with experts on the Finnish literature prepared and led the seminar.
