The most significant consequence of globalisation is the retreat of clash about the reason of power as a material source of legitimacy of the political decision-making. In the context of the Eurozone, spill-overs of some autonomous national fiscal and economic policies, disbalancing the equilibrium of the whole, have been contrary to the idea of democracy.

The European public debt crisis has only European democratic solution, which can be in long-term run replaced neither by whatsoever sophisticated, but isolated decisions taken at the national level, nor by post-democratic "executive federalism" of Euro-summits diplomacy.
