Between 2004 - 2010, nine extensive rescue archaeological researches were carried out on different sites of Hulin. Neolithic settlements were identified and excavated in four of nine sites ("Višňovce", "U Isidorka", "Nivky" and "U Obrázku").
LBK excavated features, including post holes, building foundation ditches and storages, are identified as the oldest cultural horizon in the archaeological area. In total, 18130 finds were uncovered and documented.
It was possible to identify two primary building styles: large structures with five-rows of posts long rectangular hall type and small structures with three to four rows of posts. Simples of charcoal were sent to the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel for analysis and they were re-dated to the Neolithic (5230 BP).
Archaeological macro test analysis, osteologic analysis and analysis of chipped industry were carried out in the laboratory and were dated. More detailed description of LBK pottery has not been carried out yet.
It is thought that LBK buildings continue to south-west and north-east into the field.
