Hermeneutics of Experience in the Christian Tradition

Publication at Protestant Theological Faculty, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics |
2014

Abstract

If the human understanding of the Christian message is imaginatively and historically conditioned, then this book is a document in which resonates the experience of "faith seeking understanding". The book is a plurality of ways in which this experience can be grasped and methodically reflected.

The intent of the editors was to give space to theologians who despite differences of theological interests combine the trust in the experience as a meeting place with God and one another, and also note that the experience requires critical attention and care.
