The paper focuses on the manner and extent of the use of ICT in teaching Russian, which is based on the formulation of the exercises and tasks in textbooks. The main motivating factor for work with ICT (for both teachers and pupils) is considered to be the assignment of the individual exercises.
The paper deals with the typology of the assignments and the frequency of their occurrence in four most widely used textbook sets for teaching Russian in the Czech environment. Attention is paid particularly to the formulation of the assignments and the role of ICT in their fulfilment.
Assignments that encourage the use of ICT, were divided according to their character and focus into several groups. The results of this classification are presented in the text.
The evaluation of electronic support of each set, a form of such support and its interconnection with printed elements of these textbook sets are presented as well.
