Abstract
The text sheds light on the character and significance of the epigraphic finds - rock inscriptions - documented by the Czechoslovak expedition in 1963 in the framework of the UNESCO-organised salvage campaign in the vicinity of the village of Naga el-Girgawi in Lower Nubia.
