Dr. Edvard Beneš and the Opposition in Romania During the Second World War

Abstract

Starting with 1941 representatives of the great pre-war romanian political parties came into contact with president Beneš through of the representatives of the Czechoslovakian exile government in neutral countries. In december 1943 when Beneš left for Moscow to sign aliance treaty with the USSR, the representatives of Romanian opposition asked him to remember Romania's interests.
