Abstract
Monograph dealing with modern French novel and poetry (from Gide to contemporary authors such as Orsenna) which is based mainly on psychoanalytical approach. The author raises several philosophical issues related to the interpretation of literary text and offers detailed readings of a great number of outstanding texts.
