Abstract

Valgus position is one of the most common impairments of lower limbs that influences the general posture. It is an axial deviation of knee joints in frontal plane to medial direction.

This position is influenced by numerous factors. Knowledge of these factors enables and early application of primarily compensation exercises and further education and physiotherapeutic techniques, methods and concepts.

Aim of this work was to form a synoptic search study concerning the problems of valgus position of knee joint in children in youth.
