Abstract

During the exploration for radioactive mineral waters in the years 2012 and 2013 in Chrastava-Bogatynia area a cluster of water with increased radioactivity and salinity was found at Albrechtice near Frýdlant. Two major surface springs have the following characteristics: Spring "Soumar" has an activity of 1565 Bq/l 222 Rn and TDS 1.5 g/l, flow rate 1.5 l/min, the molar type Na-Ca-Cl.

Spring "Mother" has an activity of 2300 Bq/l 222 Rn, TDS 0.6 g/l, flow rate 22 l/min, the water is a Na-Cl molar type.
