Self-evaluation of pupils is one of the most important aspect of teaching process. This self-evaluation enables pupils to participate in self-evaluation itself and in the same time to enhance the quality of teaching process.
This study presents the chosen methodological approach of research which is connected with the self-evaluation of pupils in the primary schools. Chosen methods for the research which are one of the options to carry out the research connected with self-evaluation of pupils are discribed in the study.
The aim of this research is to find out if teachers in the primary schools implement and develop in teaching process the skills for pupils to be able to self-evaluated themselves. In conclusion there is generalization and recommendation for teachers how to incorporate the self-evaluation of pupils into teaching process.
