This paper discuss Marian motifs in Latin and Czech Christmas hymns Qiud admiramini, Co tu stojíte a se divíte and Co tu stojíte, co se divíte, which have been preserved in the hymnbooks from the Czech lands of the 14th - 17th century. The known text versions are analyzied and the different amount of Marian motifs as well as their transformation into Christological motifs are observed.
