Paralingual graphical means. Punctuation marks not only the syntactic function

Abstract

The paper first defines the terms paralingual and graphic means and identifies a relation between them. Subsequently, it focuses on those graphic means whose syntactic and paralinqual functions are undervalued or that are used excessively.
