The article deals with teaching Czech aspect to students, whose mother tongue doesn't have aspect as a morphological category. It starts with a brief survey of morphological means of expression of Czech aspect to focus on colocations of perfective and imperfective (partly also determinate and indeterminate) verbs with different temporal-aspectual markers.
Among these markers belong adverbials, conjunctions, particles, or even obligatorness of direct object. The teaching methods are presented in reference to Česká čítanka, a textbook for A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
