Abstract
The textbook is conceived as a practical supplement to the theoretical lectures on Albanian language and lingustics taught at the Faculty of Arts - Charles University since 2011 under the programme of South East European Studies. The practical exercises included in the book deal with specific categories of Albanian morphology and phraseology.
The students are encouraged to use Albanian only in their linguistic discussion, so that they become familiar with Albanian linguistic terminology. The aim of the exercises is not to provide simple answers, but to encourage a comparison of linguistic features among so-called world languages (e.g.
English, French, etc.) and Albanian and to search for similarities/discrepancies.
