Abstract

The goal of the research is to show the potential of the environment of Cube Constructions in children's' pre-mathematical activities (5 to 6 year old children). The presented research focuses on the use of child-child communication when reinforcing amalgamation transfer (the ability to perceive a processually described situation conceptually or conceptually described situation processually) in the environment of Cube Constructions.

We show the importance of this communication for development of transition between conceptual and processual concept of a cube construction (the construction as a product and a process) as well as the level of ability of children of the selected age group to perceive cube constructions dually.
