Intra-breath arterial oxygen oscillations detected by a fast oxygen sensor in an animal model of acute respiratory distress syndrome

Abstract

A large animal experiment demonstrating that a newly developed fast oxygen sensor is capable of detecting rapid oscillations of arterial oxygen tension, thus serving as a new diagnostic tool for cyclic atelectasis in ARDS.
