Philosophy of music and movement in the life and work of Božena Viskupová

Abstract

The author describes the life and work of the significant Czech and Slovak pedagogue Božena Viskupova in the context of her hundredth jubilee of birth. He deals with the problém of a music teacher in the metamorphoses of time.

He introduces the most important philosophical and metodical ideas of Boženya Viskupova in the field of music and movement education. He evaluates her work from the view of contemporary educational needs.
