The main purpose of this thesis was to verify in the personal report if there are any differences in the basic physical personality structure among triathletes and general population. Research was attended by a total of 63 triathletes (44 men and 19 women) who are actively involved in triathlon Czech Cup in a short triathlon.
For the collection of needed data it was used questionaire SPARO from the testing battery Diaros. Results were evaluated via special computing program for questionaire SPARO analysis.
For the data analysis was used unpaired t - test, statistical significance was assessed at the level of 0.01. Research shows there are statistically significant differences (p LESS-THAN OR EQUAL TO 0,01) among triathletes and common population.
Triathletes possess characteristics variant B, which we describe as a personality type excitable, resp. spontaneous type, characterized by the internal psychological arousal (PV +). There is a tendency to gravitate to the dynamic interactions associated with intense psychological excitation and high situational arousal.
For men, there are characteristics D3 variant (coefficient - 0.21), women on the other hand there are characteristics options B4 (coefficient -0.21).
