Literacy in the context of mother tongue didactics

Abstract

This paper focuses on teaching the mother tongue language; or Czech language didactics in the educational context. It summarizes the findings of the current state of scientific literature specialized didactics, discusses its specific position in the system of sciences, correlation between different components of teaching the Czech language and literature, and their integration into teaching practice.

In connection with the author's own research, the article reminds of a lack of refining didactic reading of secondary education, especially in adolescents with dyslexia, and on the assumption of modifiability of the human organism by the method of the Instrumental Enrichment by Prof. Reuven Feuerstein (FIE) wants to verify whether using FIE can develop reading of the adolescent dyslexic individuals.
