Abstract
The aim of this methodology is the evaluation of the importance of assimilable organic carbon in water treatment plants and it is assigned to staff at water treatment companies. Besides the AOC evaluation, the comparison to other indicators and changes of AOC during water treatment technological processes, two methods of its detection are given (including new method of optic detection).
