Abstract
The article gives a short information about news in the area of cataloging standards. After an introduction to the history of cataloging standards the author introduces the basic principles of the RDA cataloging rules built on the model FRBR.
The next part of the contribution is devoted to the emerging bibliographic framework Bibframe.
