Contens of Leisure Time of Elementary School Children during Summer Holidays in connection with the Program of The Leisure Time Centre for Children and Youth
Abstract
In the research we focused on leisure time of children during summer holidays and anout their knowledge about The leisure time centre for children and youth "Ulita" (next only DDM). We had 105 respondents from the 7th grade from four elementary schools near by DDM.
We used the non-standard questionnaire (made for this research). We found out that only 26% of children took part in summer camps and other event by DDM and more than half of children would like to change program for the holidays in the next year.
Children know about program of DDM and about 66% would like to try it. They prefer to try new activities paintball and white water.
The parents have a big influence on children's holidays program, on concrete selection of summer camp their friends
