Abstract
In this paper I am dealing with the fourth, fifth and sixth verse of Ecclesiastes chapter 4, whose unclear connection led to variety of different interpretations. First, I am showing some of existing interpretations and translations to illustrate possible range of exegesis.
Then I am dealing with single words or collocations and - if it is necessary - I track the probable development of meaning of mentioned word in biblical texts. In the end I'm also examining the context.
By those means I'm searching for convincing exposition of those biblical verses.
