Abstract
The essay is a theoretical analysis of repetition in fiction. In the first part, the author outlines the existing literature on the topic (esp. linguistics, deconstruction, rhetoric, psychoanalysis, and literary atmospheres).
In the second part, he proposes six theses on repetition in fiction that can be applied and tested in interpretations of literary texts.
