Abstract
From the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris to the 2012 Olympic Games in London, the Czechs and Czechoslovaks obtained 70 Gold Olympic Medals. Out of these, 51 were won by athletes in individual competitions and 4 by teams.
The official publication of the Czech Olympic Committee introduces the life stories of these athletes and the finest moments of their careers which were crowned by Olympic victory. František Kolář is the editor of the publication and the author of 13 portraits.
