Ready to Work and Defend the Homeland. Fifty Years of Czech Sport in Totalitarian Society - Exhibition Catalogue

Abstract

Catalogue of an exhibition which was held at the Old Town Hall in Prague in April 2014. The goal of the exhibition was to present to the public how sport was used by totalitarian regimes in the period between 1938 and 1989 and, vice versa, how sport benefited from the opportunities these regimes provided.
