Abstract
The paper deals with an ancient Greek krater from collections of castle in Červená Lhota, which is the only antique item kept in there. In the beginning the vase is put in the context of collecting tradition of ancient artifacts in Bohemia and Moravia, which provides a background for origin of the krater.
The paper than turns to the vase itself. The shape, state of preservation and decoration of the vessel are described in the context of Apulian vase painting.
Finally, the authors suggest dating and attribution of the vase and argue for it.
