The application of psychology of memory at school

Abstract

The article is concerned with the selected theoretic information about memory and possibilities of its usage by teachers at school. The first part describes different types of memory.

Subsequently, it is focused on memory process phases and some strategies that contribute to transfer of information from short-term memory to long-term memory. Finally, the article presents a couple of ways how to support a memory process by pupils.
