Abstract
The article devotes to the type of double flute called "blizňata". It looks like that this instrument is one of typical products of folklore movement.
Its formation was probably provoked by confluence of luck in connection with honest effort to reconstruct disappeared instrument of Beskydy and Javorníky mountains. It has never been a part of the local traditional culture (at least in this form) and its originator is J.
Ország-Vranecký the younger. Joža Ország-Vranecký the younger belongs to characters that significantly participated on propagation of traditional culture of Beskydy and Javorníky mountains and who had cardinal influence to its current form as it is presented now.
In the field of organologie he dealt with recording techniques of local music instruments production from the latest producers, reconstruction instruments and its presentation. His activities enable current revival of traditional music instruments of resident area.
Double flute "blizňata" is his distinctive benefit to local traditional group of instruments.
