Abstract
Translation of a chapter from The Wilde Century: Effeminacy, Oscar Wilde and the Queer Moment (1994) by Alan Sinfield. The chapter is focused od literary aestheticism and the intersection of homosexuality and effeminacy resulting from - as the author argues - the Wilde trials.
