Abstract
The paper uses Adorno's essay The Scheme of Mass Culture. It discusses the impact of exaggerated focus on transmitting information in Visual Arts Education.
It uses the Adorno's text to show the problematic aspect of overemphasising transmitting information in Visual Arts Education. It points out that permanent informing results in reducing the Visual Arts to sensation and entainment.
The contribution uses the results of research performed in qualitative metodology and it presents analyses of utterances done by the teachers participanting in the research. It analyses the conditions of information focus in Visual Arts Education.
