Abstract
Paper is focused on the system of regional elections in the Czech Republic. General results of the regional elections taking place in the years 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2014 are presented in the paper.
It also includes basic overview concerning establishment of regions within the public administration reform and information on competence of region and regional bodies.
