Abstrakt
In central and east Europe many endangered children are still placed in the institutional care and not in families. In this paper the alternative family care in the Czech Republic is presented on the background of foreign experiences.
For comparison three countries which are different in many respects have been chosem small Netherlands, a large country of West Europe - Germany and Ukraine - a country of the former Eastern block.
