Publication at Faculty of Arts |
2014

Abstract

Our presentation represents a project which is a subsection of the larger research project named The Second Language Acquisition of Russian Native Speakers in German vs. Czech Language Environments focused on studing of the problems immigrants come across during language acquisition.

Our goal is to create a platform for improving Czech language policy in regard to Russian-speaking immigrants. In addition, analysis of the speech of our respondents has allowed us to better understand the processes occurring during the acquisition of L2 by Russian-speaking immigrants and to identify the specific problems arising during their study of L2.
