How many is deaf, hard of hearing and deafened children in the Czech Republic?

Abstract

The paper presents statistics of the Ministry of Education indicating the number of the Deaf, hard of hearing and deafened children and students educated in nursery, primary and secondary schools for the Deaf and in mainstream schools in 2003/2004-2012/ 2013 and compares them with incidence of hearing impairment in the population, as medical statistics show.
