Abstract
The interesting actual pictures of halo phenomena are presented in this contribution. These phenomena are created by reflection and refraction of light rays on ice crystals in the atmosphere.
The attractive phenomena of pyramidal haloes and Minnaert's cigar are explained especially. Pictures of basic phenomena created by diffraction of light rays on water droplets contours (corona, iridescence, glory) are presented for comparison.
