Abstract
The monograph develops topics related to the life of Russian in our country and to cross-cultural communication between Czech and Russian. Tho firs section briefly introduces the local Russian community in its social, political, and religion aspekt.
The second presents case studies based on the life of free Russian émigré families. To illustrate the practice of cross-cultural communication, the third section summarizes the reset of two meeting between the Czechs and the Russians living in the Diaspra of the Emmaus Abbey, Prague.
In the kontext of the traditional piety, captioned photos of (Russian) Byzantine churches in the Czech republic are presented in the monograph.
