About the scientific edition of Herman Jakub Czernins travel diary

Abstract

In this chapter the author describes three preserved versions of Herman Jakub Czernin's travel diary and explains the circumstances of their origin and their probable aim. In the second part, he specifies the established editors' rules applyed for each of five parts of the diary which was written in five languages.
