Abstrakt
The paper reconsiders recent understanding of the Celtic mercenary. The phenomenon is mentioned and described by the ancient authors.
Author's personal field experience with archaeological evidence of Celtic presence at emporion Pistiros in central Bulgaria and considers also other evidences of Celtic mercenary.
