Abstract
Many of the informatics procedures are creating a image (a model) of reality. The current separated information systems are very deformend picture of a healthcare and the citizen's needs.
The so-called. e-Health has a real chance to become a monitor of healthcare services and supplies... In the Czech Republic, the concept of e-Health unfortunately discredited and many health professionals have (justified) fear of transparency of health care.
The first necessary step is to select a suitable supplier, the truth is, that excellent functionality of the systems is a guarantee that the savings will compensate almost any price. The only completely separable and beneficial issue is co-called e-prescribing.
It may be considered as a separate system, but the better solution would be to implement e-health system as complete.
