Woody plants and herbs suitable for rural settlements in the territory of the Local Action Group (LAG) České středohoří
Abstract
The presented methodology deals with woody plants and herbs to be planted in the region of the Local Action Group České středohoří. It draws heavily from the detailed study of the above mentioned region, existing conditions analysis, and historical context.
The methodology identifies all crucial impacts on greenery in this region. In an innovative and unique way, it incorporates all knowledge gained by individual specialists (on dendrology, botany, history, landscaping, sociology, pomology, perennial plants growing, design) in the region.
Its merit lies in the identification of woody plants, herbs and fruit trees typical of this region because together with other landscape and architectural features, they make this region unique. At present, there is no other up-to-date study of this region.
