The presented contribution is part of the final scientific report related to ESTABLISH project (project of 7th Framework Programme). It contains a case study related to IBSE (Inquiry based science education) in the Czech Republic and some selected and/or important results related to the outcomes of the ESTABLISH project in the Czech Republic in the fields of physics, chemistry and biology (science education).
It also delas with ways of dissemantion of the IBSE and objectzives of the project among the teachers in the Czech Republic.
