The introductory part presents history od aesthetic plastic surgery and corrective dermatology at home and abroad, the genesis of surgial techniques and portrays the most important persons ind this fiels. It also describes the anatomy and pathology of the skin.
The general part includes important preoperative procedures, i. e., patient selection, proper photographic documentation, anaesthesia options, and psychological aspects od patients in plastic surgery and corrective dermatology. Special part systematically discusses the most most important surcical and non-surgical procedures at the head and neck, as well at the trunk and limbs.
A separate cahpter is given to the corrective dermatology and aesthetic laser surgery and the chapter deals with the combined plastic-surgical and laser procedures. The book is accompanied by a DVD with complete visual documentation and video clips.
