Abstract
Cannabinoids are very popular group of drugs possessing a potential of use in plenty of illnesses. However, the only one approved indication in the Czech Republic is the treatment of spasticity in patients with multiple sclerosis.
The article summarizes the current position of cannabinoids in this indication with the focus on the physiology of endogenous cannabinoid system.
