Abstract
The book pays attention to the description of the physical background of the radiological and nuclear medicine imaging methods. The basic principles of all imaging modalities are explained such as radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance, ultrasound, scintigraphy, single photon emission tomography and positron emission tomography including also the basic of radiochemistry and pharmacology of radiopharmaceuticals and contrast materials.
