Stress-strain analyses of the jaws with multiple keratocysts before and after surgery

Abstrakt

An odontogenic keratocyst was detected and treated in the lower jaw. A 3D reconstruction from a CT scan was made before surgery and 15 months after.

The healing process was monitored using stress-strain analyses of the mandible with a system of keratocysts, and by comparing them with the analogous data of stress-strain analyses of the patients mandible after the surgical extirpation of the cysts.
