Pusch enteroscopy

Abstract

For many years, the small bowel was considered to be a rare location for any pathology. This conviction, together with problems relating to construction of an endoscope dedicated to small bowel investigation, led endoscopists to be relatively uninterested in enteroscopy [1, 2].

This situation changed dramatically at the end of the twentieth century.
