Abstract
Specialized map with professional content shows a map of physical impacts mapping corrosion losses and degradation of construction materials - carbon steel, zinc, sandstone, limestone and copper - and health impacts for different types of health outcomes - morbidity and mortality - due to atmospheric pollution for the city of Ostrava. The map depicts the geographic distribution of impacts for the reference level of pollution in 2011 and the change of impacts due to the reduction of emissions at metallurgical plants and the effects of gasification of households.
The map of physical impacts was created using ArcGIS programe in GIS environment.
